Ship Design Solutions market, develop, maintain and support the Loadmate and LoadmatePlus onboard loading computers and provides software and related services to naval architects and others involved in the design and construction of ships.

Loadmate

Loadmate was originally developed by KCS/Tribon/AVEVA. In 2005 Ship Design Solutions entered into an agreement with AVEVA Solutions Ltd., to market, develop, maintain and support Loadmate.

Loadmate is an IMO Type 2 on board loading computer system designed specifically to provide ship's officers with the means to rapidly assess the stability and strength of the vessel.

LoadmatePlus

LoadmatePlus is a loading computer program for use onboard ship. It is an IMO Type 3 loading computer and calculates the vessel's intact and damage stability directly from an accurate geometric definition of the vessel. This means it can be used to analyse conditions that differ significantly from those in the stability booklet, where an approved damage stability limiting curve is not available.
